The spring claw sits at the back of the cavity and anchors the tremolo springs that counterbalance the bridge. When a steel claw strips its wood screws or corrodes to the point where the adjusting screws seize, the bridge stops returning to pitch reliably. This is a direct replacement claw and screws, machined in brass, for Floyd Rose Original, Pro, and 7-String tremolo systems.

Fit comes down to two things. First, the claw's mounting holes have to line up with the existing screw holes in your body — drill new holes in the wrong position and the whole anchor point shifts. Second, if your claw is sitting too far forward and you are running out of inward adjustment before the bridge levels, swapping the claw alone will not fix it: the real problem is usually spring count or spring angle. Measure where your current claw sits before ordering a replacement.

Brass is heavier and softer than the steel claws found on most production guitars. The adjusting screws thread into brass rather than steel, so seize-ups from corrosion are less common, but overtightening will strip the threads. Drive them by hand until you feel resistance, then back off.
